Working from Edinburgh, she draws deep inspiration from the city’s gothic architecture - layering paper, texture and detail to create atmospheric scenes that feel both familiar and dreamlike.

Alongside her artistic career, Ashley has spent many years working within the field of mental health, an experience that informs the empathy, sensitivity and narrative depth found throughout her work.
