About the artist
Christopher Wood PPSSA RSW RGI is a Dunbar-based artist whose work balances abstraction and landscape, shaped by the drama and atmosphere of Scotland’s coastlines and skies. He trained at Edinburgh College of Art, graduating with an Honours degree in Drawing & Painting in 1984, and has worked full-time since his first solo exhibition in 1987. A Past President of the Society of Scottish Artists, he is an elected member of the RSW, RGI and PAI.
Awards include the Sir William Gillies Award and Rowallan Castle Award (RSW). His work is held by His Majesty King Charles III and the Bank of Scotland.
